I was delighted to visit Battersea Dogs and Cats Home to meet staff and discuss the need for improved animal welfare legislation.

I reaffirmed my commitment to standing up for better animal welfare standards in Parliament, particularly in light of the Government shamelessly scrapping the Kept Animals Bill.
