Today, I took part in Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Questions, calling on the Government to bring forward the Online Harms Bill as soon as possible, and to ensure that social media platforms are accountable for the content on their platforms. Disinformation and conspiracy theories risk undermining public health messaging. The Government and social media companies must address this without further delay.
