I have sent a message of solidarity to striking British Gas workers and members of the GMB Union who are calling for the awful ‘fire and rehire’ tactic to be taken off the table. This is wrong and I will work with my Labour colleagues in Parliament to bring an end to this practice. Nobody should have changes in their contracts forced upon them.
