Call From MP's to Theresa May over Orgreave Inquiry

A cross party coalition of MP's have signed a letter urging the Home Secretary Theresa May to launch an investigation into the Police actions at Orgreave during the Miners Strike of 1984-85.

Gill is one of the MP's who put her name to the letter, calling for this enquiry.  'In the light of the revelations and exoneration of fans from the Hillsborough disaster, its only right that all actions of the Police need to be looked at.  The IPCC have linked the events in Hillsborough to those actions the Police took at Orgreave and this is something we can't just sit back and let go, a full investigation should go ahead so that the miners and the families of miners affected know the truth'.
